Tim Parker joined the Bloom Group in 2008. He advises clients on thought leadership strategy; the issues they need to own in the marketplace, the content to produce, and how to take it to market. He leads major research projects, for instance on the management of risk, the future of work, or strategies for the provision of healthcare. He also manages the production of editorial content for clients’ management journals and other self-published material such as white papers. Topics he has written on for clients cover a wide spectrum including for instance IT-integrated manufacturing, drug development, targeted marketing, global shared services and economic espionage.
Tim was previously a vice president at Cadence Design Systems where he grew an electronics design business for European high tech companies. Prior to Cadence, Tim was a vice president of CSC Computer Sciences in the UK, delivering technology and consulting solutions to large European companies. Before that, Tim was a vice president with CSC Index, delivering consulting and change management solutions to large companies worldwide. Tim’s extensive consulting work included devising an operating model for the first “Europeanization” of a European multinational, developing e-business strategies for major companies, and IT strategies for auto and consumer goods manufacturing companies.
At The Bloom Group, Tim takes a particular interest in thought leadership strategy and digital marketing, including social media, and leads programs to develop The Bloom Group’s own points of view in these areas.
Tim earned his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University in England and graduated with an MBA from London Business School and MIT Sloan School.
